![]() This very well could be the same situation with Red Dead Redemption 2. ![]() As the ResetEra post says, Rockstar only had to file for multiple classifications last time with GTAV’s three distinct launch phases. Where this gets interesting is the fact that Rockstar already has a classification for the original console release for the game. Screenshot from the official IARC website The game was refused classification, so Rockstar filed under a different name: Red Dead Redemption 2. Whether this was a new title, or a dirty joke covering up the classification of a popular game, was unknown. After an inquiry was made and a representative of the IARC (International Age Rating Coalition) responded that there was no game called Bonaire. In the post, vestan shows an initial filing from Rockstar for a game called “Bonaire”. The information was discovered by ResetEra user vestan. Unsurprisingly, Red Dead Redemption 2 received an MA 15+ rating, the country’s equivalent to an M or PEGI 18. According to an Australian Classification Board, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be ported to the PC. After releasing their own games launcher, it appears that Rockstar Games will be bringing one of their most critically-acclaimed titles to PC.
